"Anjali" is a Sanskrit word that means offering. We offer these clothes as a direct expression of the love that we share for Yoga and all the ways that it has enriched, expanded, and given great meaning to our lives.
Anjali was founded by husband and wife team Julissa Carranza and Kristinn Sigridarson,
as a way to join their two great loves; yoga and fashion design.
After 15 years of working for some of New York’s top fashion companies,
we have paired our fashion sensibilities with our intense yoga practice demands;
to create a collection of clothes that ultimately, we hope, will contribute more beauty into the world.
We select fabrics that feel good against the skin and are in alignment with a life style vision of what we strive to cultivate in our Yoga practice. We design artwork that reminds us, and all that see it, of the inherent beauty and goodness that resides in each and every one of us. We hope that you will love our clothes and that they enhance and contribute to you loving your Yoga practice and life.
